Our school year program is five days a week based on the school year for breaks and holidays. We generally follow Hopkins County Schools to set our calendar and will not be in session if Hopkins County Schools is closed. In the case of extended or non-weather
related Hopkins County Schools closures, adjustments may be made to the schedule by
special notice with that communicated to families in as timely manner as possible.

For the safety of your children and our staff, First United Methodist Church
Preschool may elect to a) not open, b) open late, c) temporarily close a specific
classroom(s) or d) close early due to the occurrence or threat of inclement weather, adverse
travel conditions, communicable disease, significant staff outages, emergency building
maintenance, etc. All such closures will be communicated through Brightwheel and the
Preschool’s Facebook page in as timely manner as possible.
